Editorial policy

Sourcing

Every report is built from identifiable source material: industry publications, company statements, regulatory filings, exchange notices and official data releases. Each article lists the sources it was built from. We do not publish claims that we cannot trace to a source on the record.

Verification

Before publication, a story is checked for whether its factual claims — figures, dates, named parties, quoted statements — are supported by the cited material. Stories that fall below our verification threshold are held for human review or discarded. We would rather publish nothing than publish an unsupported claim, and we do not publish filler to meet a volume target.

Human review

Editors can review, amend, hold or reject any story at any point in the pipeline. Review decisions and publication events are recorded in an internal audit log.

Quotes and statistics

We never invent quotes, statistics, sources or events. Quotes are reproduced only from the source record and attributed to it. Numbers are reported as their source states them, with the source named.

Balance

We do not suppress or rewrite unfavourable news to protect any company, advertiser or partner. Where a story is negative or contested, it is handled through human editorial review rather than automated publication.

Independence

Commercial relationships never determine coverage. Sponsored or promotional material, if it ever appears, will be labelled as such and kept separate from editorial reporting.
