Petro Stream Trading is a digital trade publication covering the physical and financial sides of energy and commodities: crude and products trading, fuel oil and bunkering, shipping and chartering, port logistics, brokerage and the market structures that connect them.

What we publish

Our newsroom produces short market reports, explainers and constructive industry news. Every story is written from identifiable sources, and each report lists the material it was built from so readers can check the original record themselves.

How we work

Stories begin as monitored source material from industry publishers, company statements and official releases. Editors and automated verification checks assess whether the claims in a draft are supported by those sources before anything is published. Reports that cannot be supported are held back rather than published.

We use AI assistance in drafting and research. Where a report was drafted with AI assistance, that is disclosed on the article itself. AI never replaces sourcing: we do not invent quotes, statistics, events or attributions.

What we do not claim

We publish market journalism, not investment advice, and we make no guarantee about the commercial outcome of any decision taken on the basis of our reporting.
